ASFF 2023

The Athens Short Film Festival 2023 took place from 30 November to 2 December at the Mikrokosmos cinema with all screening slots being sold out all three days. Attracting over 1,000 persons who joined us during the screenings and at our after-event parties, the ASFF2023 joined cinephiles, filmmakers and local artists in a unique event dedicated to the art of cinema.

ASFF 2022

After a two-year absence from cinemas, the Athens Short Film Festival is back on Friday, December 2nd to the beloved "Mikrokosmos" cinema. Through a rich program of short films and documentaries from all around the world, ASFF invites you to go on a journey through the eyes of 13 talented filmmakers.

After months of hard work, the previously postponed 2020 & 2021 editions took place online in collabroation with ENDAVO!

ASFF 2018

The first Athens Short Film Festival took place 16th of June 2018 at Mikrokosmos cinema in the heart of Athens. Filmmakers and enthusiasts from all over the world are invited to a night full of great independent short films. We aim to give a platform to documentary and fictional short films that are challenging our ideas of cinema and art and are telling a story worth watching.
